Ephesians 2:19-22

19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

Psalm 84:9-12

9 Behold our shield, O God,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Faithful

You are there in every season of my soul
You are there, You're the anchor that will hold
You are there, in the valley of the shadows
You are faithful, God

Joel 2:23

Joel 2:23
23 So rejoice, O sons of Zion,
And be glad in the LORD your God;
For He has given you the early rain for your vindication.
And He has poured down for you the rain,
The early and latter rain as before.

Overcome

1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 John 2:15-16

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

Psalm 119:9-16

Beth.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.
10 With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
11 Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O LORD;
Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have told of
All the ordinances of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts
And regard Your ways.
16 I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.

Jeremiah 1:6-8

6 Then I said, “Alas, Lord GOD!
Behold, I do not know how to speak,
Because I am a youth.”
7 But the LORD said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
Because everywhere I send you, you shall go,
And all that I command you, you shall speak.
8 “Do not be afraid of them,
For I am with you to deliver you,” declares the LORD.

Cry Out To Jesus (Third Day)

To everyone who's lost someone they love
Long before it was their time
You feel like the days you had were not enough
when you said goodbye

And to all of the people with burdens and pains
Keeping you back from your life
You believe that there's nothing and there is no one
Who can make it right

There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus

For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They lost all of their faith and love
They've done all they can to make it right again
Still it's not enough

For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
You try to give up but you come back again
Just remember that you're not alone in your shame
And your suffering

When your lonely
And it feels like the whole world is falling on you
You just reach out, you just cry out to Jesus
Cry to Jesus

To the widow who suffers from being alone
Wiping the tears from her eyes
For the children around the world without a home
Say a prayer tonight

1 John 1

1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— 2 and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

Listening and Doing (James 1:19-25)

19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. 22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. 25 But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does.

I Believe

I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe that God is the Almighty Maker of heaven and earth. I believe that Jesus who suffered was crucified, buried and dead. He descended into hell and on the third day He rose again. I believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and now sits at God Mighty right hand. I believe in the Holy Spirit, one holy church, communion of saints, and forgiveness of sins. I believe in the resurrection and I believe in a life that never ends. I believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I believe.

Blessed

Matthew 5:3-16
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5 “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

10 “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Where Are You Going?

Teach me to number my days
And count every moment before it slips away
Take in all the colors before they fade to gray
I don't want to miss even just a second more of this

It happens in a blink
It happens in a flash
It happens in the time it takes to look back
I try to hold on tight, but there's no stopping time
What is it I've done with my life
It happens in a blink

When it's all said and done
No one remembers how far we have run
The only thing that matters is how we have loved
I don't want to miss even just a second more of this

Slow down, slow down
Before today becomes our yesterday
Slow down, slow down
Before you turn around and it's too late
-Blink, Revive

Where are you going when you die. When your time on earth ends what is happening to you? There are two places you could go. You could go to heaven with the Christians if you are a Christian, (John 14:3). So, believers go to be with Jesus in heaven when they die. Or you could go to hell with the sinners who haven't accepted Christ into their hearts. (Mark 9:47-48). So, non-believers go to a horrible place called hell.
The choice is yours alone. So before you do anything else I want to ask you, are you right with God and do you know where your going when you die? If you don't know where your going, you should get right with God or the day will come when you die and you meet your Maker not reconciled with God. Get real with God now or you might not make in the pearly gates.

The Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 13:44-49)

44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

45 'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

47 'Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous"

Psalm 24

1 The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
2 For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?
And who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face—even Jacob.
Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
8 Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
10 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory.
Selah.

Get Back Up Again

We lose our way,
We get back up again
Never too late to get back up again,
One day, you gonna shine again,
You may be knocked down but not out forever,
Lose our way, we get back up again,
So get up, get up
You gonna shine again
It's never too late, to get back up again
You may be knocked down, but not out forever,
May be knocked down, but not out forever!

Pointing to the Cross

The entire Bible points to one thing, the cross. The cross, where the Son of God sacrificed Himself by taking on our sin and giving us His life instead. The cross, where God's love was shone as Jesus paid the ultimate price so we could be free. From Genesis to Revelation, and everything in the middle, it all points to the Cross of Jesus Christ. Thank you God for the Cross!

Arise from the Dead

Ephesians 5:14 (NASB)
14 For this reason it says,

“Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you.”

Come Awake, David Crowder* Band

Come awake
From sleep, arise
You were dead
You’ve come alive
Wake up wake up
Open your eyes
Climb from your grave
Into the light
Bring us back to life

Awaken from your sleep, rise up from the ashes and follow the Lord. In your despair turn to God and He will lift you up. Come alive and awaken to what the Lord has from you. Arise from your slumber, awake.

In It, Not of It

1 John 2:15-17 "15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever."

Even though sin and corruption rains all around us let it become you. Even though we are in it doesn't mean we are it. If your eyes are focused on the world than the love of the Father cannot be and is not in you. You must love not the world, but focus on the Father, for from Him come all good things.

James 4:4
"4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

If you love the world than you are rejecting God. And in doing that you are making yourself an enemy of God. Don't follow the way of the world or look to the things of it, but look to God in all times of your life.

James 4:7-8
"7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

Confess to God that you have sinned, ask for His forgiveness in truth and it will be given. After you have been forgiven, make your life pure and pleasing to God. (Stop sinning) Give it all to God and quit living to lives. (One in church and one out) Go to God and He'll come to you.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
"1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

Hard times are coming, so if you don't change now than you will be swept away. Let God make into a pillar that cannot be shaken, so that through Christ you will not fall.

2 Timothy 3:12-17
"12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

Find your strength in God. Read His Word and talk to Him in pray. Praise His holy name. Be trained in the was of righteousness and live a life that is pleasing to God. Become a pillar in Christ and LIVE FOR GOD!

Friendship/relationship/collision

To miss someone is to love someone. God has blessed us with relationship so that He can prove His love to us. A relationship is a collision. It's when two different people collide for better or for worse. When one is gone they still have a relationship/collision, it's just that through absence, God's love becomes evident in the collision. God loves us enough to give us friendships/relationships/collisions that last forever.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with so many relationships with people, and please help me to treasure the love that you have proven to me.

Offering

Offering, by Third Day:
Magnificent Holy Father
I stand in awe of all I see
Of all the things You have created
But still You choose to think of me

Who am I that You should suffer
Your very life to set me free
The only thing that I can give You
Is the life You gave to me

This is my offering, dear Lord
This is my offering to You, God
And I will give You my life
For it's all I have to give
Because You gave Your life for me

I stand before You at this alter
So many have given You more
I may not have much I can offer
Yet what I have is truly Yours

Isaiah 40:21-26

21 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
23 He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
24 No sooner are they planted,
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

25 “To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

Coming Together As One

We all are different. As Christians, we may be from different churches or believe in different theologies, but the truth is, we all believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. We're different, but we're on the same side. We need to encourage and build each other up rather than arguing about who church is better. Instead of holding each other back, boost them up. We all have the goal to bring new souls to Christ and we need each other to reach all the lost souls in the world. (Through Christ) Come and unite together as fellow Christians, so that we can become the perfect bride of Christ. Help each other! Where one is weak, another is strong. Where one is blind, another may see. We need to put our differences aside and come together as one body, one life, one church, one bride - for the glory of God. Unite together in love and in Christ!

God's Love

The more I think about it, the more I am bewildered. God's love is inconceivable. He loves us no matter what! That can't be taken lightly. We fail so often that we forget and take it for granted that God will forgive us. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN! This is God your dealing with! The Creator of the universe. Never forget His love for you. Thank/praise Him that He is God and that He loves us! So thank Him that He doesn't give you what you deserve.

Psalm 29

Psalm 29

A psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in His temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 The LORD gives strength to His people;
the LORD blesses His people with peace.

A Life of Worship

Living lives of worship. We all need to do this. God is pleased when we take it a step further than just praising Him in church. (Although, praising God in church shouldn't be a lower priority.) To do this, you can't just praise God in church, no you have to take it much further than that. Every where you go, every moment your alive praise God! Praise Him for your many blessing that He has given you. Thank Him and Praise Him. Live your life so that it is pleasing to God. Every choice you make, make it a choice that will please God. Let your actions prove that you love God. In essence, give your entire life to God. I encourage you all to strive to find God and live for Him in a completely new way. Praise the Lord! =)

The Road Less Taken

All of us have a choice. We all have a free-will and we all have the ability to choose what we do, believe in, and live for. Everyone has a choice. And as we walk the path of life we make choices that alter what we do, who we see, and who we are.

In life there are two paths that can be taken. The first path is wide and smooth and many travel on it. The second is narrow and rough, few travel upon it. The first path may look appetizing, but overall it leads to a fiery pit. The second, though rough and hard to travel upon, leads to the a place of joy and happiness where darkness cannot go. Many take the first path and over all lead themselves to a place of death. But for the few who travel the narrow path, I commend and stand beside you as a brother. Even though the trials on earth may be great, the ultimate reward is beyond your imagination. It may be hard, but there is only one path that leads to heaven, and unfortunately, it is less traveled, but I encourage you to join with the few on the narrow path.

I pray that in the path of life, God will strengthen you in your walk, you will choose the right path, grow in faith toward Him, and you will serve Him all the days of your life. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He shine His face upon you.
