Made to Worship
We were made to praise God.
We are made to worship God with everything in us.
Worship is in itself not a thing that you only do on Sundays at church.
Worship is a lifestyle and a action that you make every day.
As Christian and we are called to live a life of worship.
That means that everything we do should be unto the glory of God.
Lifting up your hands and singing is what most of us think of as worship.
But really that not even the half f it.
We express worship through our actions.
That means living righteous lives.
Which means that if your not living a righteous life than how can you really worship God in full.
When we worship, we present our praise to God, so if your giving God a "present," don't you want it to be a good and clean one instead of a dirty and bad present.
When I worship and when I live, I want to give God my best and my first.
So that means that we will be known by our works. If we do not live righteous lives than how can we be seen as people of God? And how can we worship God if we do not obey Him?
1 John 3:10
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.
So by the actions of people we can know if they are children of God and if they are actually worshiping God.
John 14:15
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
We can't bring to God false praise. If we say that we love God and yet our actions prove otherwise than would you say that we love God or not?
Actions do speak louder than words. And the action can either prove or disprove the words.
So bringing this all back to the original point.
We were made to worship.
We can't bring God false praise.
And we have to live a life of worship. Worshiping God through everything that we do.
Its time to worship God in full.
Its time to praise Him with our lives and choices.
Its time to bring honor to the name of Jesus Christ.

Mercy, Love, and Rising
Sin.
We face it every day/second of our lives. Sometimes we rise above it but so often we fall. We fall for sin and don't rise to love.
People so often say that one "falls in love." Well I completely disagree with that. If you had to "fall to love" with someone/make your own personal state worse, well than maybe I wouldn't do it.
Love is something that is to be risen to. If you love someone, don't go and "fall in love" with them, that's stupid, Rise in love, together.
Oh, and don't just say you love them, prove it.
Moving along: We all sin, we all fall short of the glory of God. We've all sown death into our lives.
And God has countless times forgiven us. God has given us second, third, forth, etc. chances.
He's forgiven us more chances than we can count.
Lamentations 3:22-23
"22 The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness."
God's mercy and compassion for us is great. He proved that when He forgave and gave the Ninevites another chance even after all they did.
God's love toward you cannot be stopped. When the kingdom of God moves, nothing and nobody can stop it. God is unstoppable.
And He is merciful. Everytime you fall, get back up again and rise in the Lord.
Proverbs 24:16a

To finish it off, an encouragement.
Micah 7:8b

Don't give up on God's mercy and love.

Expectations
Where do you set the bar?
What is the standard you hold yourself to?
Recently I've been thinking about this. People so often hold them selves to a low standard.
They set the bar so low that failure is expected. Especially for teenagers.
Teens are expected to be juvenile, rude, and reckless.
I personally don't believe adolescence. People look at it as a time to mess around, screw up, and be allowed to do so.
What's that all about?
Not only are youths expected to live up to a low standard, but adults as well. Excellence has been thrown out the window and laziness has replaced it. And I know this is a generalization, but the truth is, as a generation, we're slacking.
On a personal level. I don't hold myself to any standard that I've made. My standard is Christ.
Jesus was perfect. That means my standard, my bar, is perfection.
Now I never said we could reach that bar. But I said that perfection should be our goal and bar.
We can never be perfect as Jesus was because He never sinned. Before we come out of the womb we've sinned because of our human nature.
But we can go and sin no more. We can take the gift of freedom from sin and strive to reach the goal of perfection in Christ.
Hold yourself to a higher standard. Make Jesus your standard. Make your goal perfection.
Make Jesus the expectation.

O God Where Are You Now?
Loneliness.
Where is God? How can I live? I can't see God, so is He real?
I've felt this way before, just like the rest of you. We all at some time come to a piont of doubt and despair. There comes a point for all of us that we just can't tkae it anymore. We feel cheated or mocked. Thinking we give so much to this great unknown God and we still can't see Him.
We question our faith on the "deal breaker" that we can't see Him. And in our society, if you can't see it you don't believe in it.
I, like the most of you have felt this and some time. But It gives a realization, if you'll accept it that maybe it's not God fault, maybe it's ours.
What if the reason we can't see God has nothing to do with God "withholding" something from us. What if the reason is because we are sinful and have fallen short of the glory of God. What if it's because we would die if we saw Him. Or there is the fact that God is Light and in Him is no darkness; and it's because of us, who are darkness, that the two cannot join as of now.
But I'm not here to shame you into believing that it's all your fault and there's nothing you can do about it, no there is hope. Because we aren't complete without God. And God doesn't want to just leave us there. He wants to be with/in us. But it's up to us to accept His outstretched hand. Yes, we've sinned and thus cannot join with God because we are darkness. But that's what Jesus is for: to set us free so He can live in us. Jesus sets us free.
But this is all a choice, as to wither you accept and ask for what is given.
It's a choice.
And when it comes to seeing God. On earth we can't. It is possible to see Jesus or angels, but not God. It says so firmly in God's Word.
But we can see God through other things. We can see Him through His Son. We can see Him through what He does. We can see Him through the Word.
And we can HIm know through talking to Him, reading His Word, and worshiping Him in spirit and truth.
Your not alone. God is with you, wither you accept it or not. His love is there for you even when your for God. His love is ALWAYS there for you, no matter what. God loves you and there is nothing you or anyone else can do to change that.
Don't fight God and give in to the world and the Devil.
Give in to God, fight the world, and fight the Devil.
God will never give up on you, Don't give up on Him.
God is with you! If God is for you than none can stand against you.
God sees you! God knows you! And God loves you.
Don't give up.
Look to God and choose life!

More Recently
Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that. I'm going to try to stick to a weekly schedule now.
Each week's post will be on Tuesdays, so you can be looking for that.
Now for the actual post:
Recently in my life I've been facing, like the rest of you, the challenge of sin. And we all have one sin that always creeps up on us over and over again. For me it's time management. And I know you all saying, but that's not a sin!" Well actually for me it is. I have the problem of spending time in things that are useless instead of investing my time in the things of the Lord. So in that, in choosing to live and spend my time selfishly, I'm sinning.
And more than just being a challenge, it's a battle. I have to continually be making the choice to give my time to God instead of myself. And something I realized recently really brought some light to my situation. When I gave my life to Christ, I gave Him MY LIFE! That means everything. But that not something you just do once. You have to continually be giving yourself to God. But back to the revaluation. I realize that because I'm a Christian, my life is not my own. So if I'm spending it to self indulge, I'm misusing someone's property. God's property.
And that's that. My life's not my own.

Love, Marrage and Valentine's Day
Hello all!
As you all well know, today is Valentine's day. For some this is a day for giving flowers to a girlfriend. For others, it's taking out their wife. For hallmark it's a made up holiday to sell cards. For me it's a day to think of the future. As most of you know, I have a strict policy. I won't get into a deep relationship with someone if God doesn't tell me to. I believe that when it comes to getting married, God will choose a wife for me. What that doesn't mean is that I won't like my wife. Not at all. If I let God choose, my wife will me perfect for me. God knows my heart and everything in me. And God is a good God and as a Father wants to make his children happy, God also wants to make us happy. So with that said, I'm leaving the choice of my wife to God to choose, because if I chose, I'd probably screw it up.
With all that said I want to talk to you about love. In this culture there is a completely messed up and polluted view of what love is. Love isn't an emotion or a feeling. It's not something that you feel, it's something you do. It's a life style you live. In 1 Corinthians it says,
"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
So love isn't what we as a generation have come to see it as. True love is something we hardly ever see. Love is a choice you make ever day. And with your relationship it comes down to wither you love yourself or him. And it's the same with a man and a woman in a relationship. You have the choice to favor your self or you can choose to love the other and care for them.
So when it comes time that you have someone in your life that you care about more than the others and God has lead you to them, will you love them more than your self? And you can say yes now, but the true answer is shown ever day when you have the choice to choose you or them. As with so many thing, it all comes down to a choice.
So as you go about your day today, pray and ask God to lead you to the one that He has for you. And when you do so, put aside your emotions or your attractions to people and ask God no matter what the answer who He has for you in your time to come.
And I'll leave you with this,
Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Have a great day. And God bless.
